Unfinished power from the previous life

   Performance Scene 33’’ 2025
   Materials: Balloons, air pump, black string, plastic buckets, organic paint, water, lights, artificial turf, electric drill, microphone







In an unfinished sunken indoor space, music plays throughout. The music is a re-edited version of a noise performance by'Der 1. Weltkrieg'and'In de Loopgraaf'(from the band Einsturzende Neubauten). Starting from a corner of the space, I inflate balloons while interacting with them. The black string tying the balloons is wrapped around mymouth and held in my bite, then I use my teeth and hands to pull the balloons and air pump together to the ceiling. I wander through the sunkenspace, interacting with the pulling force of the balloons, then take out an electric drill that I've hidden in a bag of cement powder, drilling into thecement powder and floor to produce smoke.I climb to the next platform, placing one leg into a bucket of organic paint and the other into a bucket of water and a light, beginning to step andblow into the microphone to make sounds. After the coloring is complete, I gradually walk to the steps covered with artificial turf, continuing to pull with the balloons and crawling under theturf to reveal my colored legs. The artwork is completed by cutting an opening in the artificial turf with a knife and sticking out a head.
