Performance Scene 15’ 2025Materials: Sand pile, wooden basin, lamp,cigarette, toilet
Process: Local materials found in a village.I buried my body in the sand, leaving onlymy head and the edge of my phoneexposed. The phone played the thememusic from "Plants vs. Zombies 2, " and Irested my head against the toilet, waitingfor the audience. When the audiencetapped on the toilet, I tapped back. Whenthey moved the sand off a phone, I held thephone between my feet and shook it. Igradually raised my right foot, then tappedthe toilet with my left hand, my left kneeshaking with the sound. I looked into eachaudience member's eyes (I have a squint),then looked at the barrel. I lit a cigaretteinside the barrel with my right hand, thesmoke drifting out from the gaps. I raisedmy foot holding the phone even higher, thephone fell, and I grinned at the audience toend the performance.
